Toe Rings

Toe rings are worn by many women these days. Actually, it is very much part of an Indian tradition. But nowadays, wearing toe rings is more of a style statement than a part of tradition. Married Indian women are expected to wear toe rings on both their feet. Indian women wear the toe ring on their second toe. The earliest references to toe rings can be found in the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is believed that when Ravana kidnapped Sita, she threw her toe rings on the way to Lanka (now Sri Lanka) so that Rama (her husband) could find her. So the tradition for married women to wear this piece of jewellery is ancient.

Now it seems that toe rings are much more than mere fashion or even tradition. Wearing toe rings has health benefits too. This age old custom seems to have been designed with a health perspective in mind. Or rather, it is would be fair to call it an ancient fertility ritual that still works. The health benefits of wearing toe rings is actually associated with a woman's fertility. Here are some of the major Health benefits of wearing toe rings. Regular Menstrual Periods The main reason why Indian women wear toe rings after marriage is to regulate their menstrual cycle. The exact reason for this connection between toe rings and menstrual cycles is not clear. But it has something to do with a nerve that passes through the second toe on both your feet. Pressing this nerve is supposed to ensure that your periods are regular. Now you already know that having regular menstrual cycle helps you to conceive easily. In the modern context, menstrual regularity is much more than a mere fertility ritual. Most women do not have regular periods due to unhealthy and stressful lifestyles. That is why, wearing toe rings could be a natural remedy for menstrual problems for such women.

You must have noticed that toe rings are always worn on both feet. This is to maintain a balance of energies. The nerve that passes through the second toe also passes through the uterus and heart. So wearing the toe ring on both rings ensure that a balance is maintained in your uterus. This also helps women to maintain their fertility and reproductive health. Good Conductor Of Energy The toe rings that Indian women wear are always made of silver. Now the metal silver is a good conductor of energy. So when you walk on the earth, the silver toe rings absorb all the positive energy from the earth and transfer it to your body. According to Ayurveda, it is good to have some metal on your body.

Ear Piercing

Ear Piercing has been there in almost each civilization. Now a days i see many boys specially wearing a ear ring on one ea,.but there is reason behind it...After a baby is born, it is a general practice by the Ancient Indians to pierce the baby( both boys or girls) ears.

Actually, it is a part of acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture and Acupressure is not new to Indians. These techniques originated in India and later they were conserved and modified by Chinese.

Outer part of ears carry a lot of important acupuncture and acupressure points. The point where the ears of a baby are pierced is known for curing asthma. That is why even ancient indians both men and women used to wear ear-rings.

Almost Everything in the indian culture and traditions are purely based on science..For some things we know the reasons... For some we don't know...People are there who says simply these traditions are some stupid beliefs...But for the fact those people don't know the real reason and science behind those...

Behind the ear lobe there is a natural, small microscopic depression which contains nerve endings linked with diseases like bronchial asthma, cough and tuberculosis. The Chinese science of acupuncture states that the root cause of some diseases lies in the subtle regions of every organ in the body. When that area is punctured, the disease is eliminated. The study of this science was done and recorded in the Hindu scriptures much earlier and the sanskar of piercing the ear lobes was already prescribed.
